This nutritious, high-protein, tasty, guilt-free chicken tikka is a quick and simple meal to prepare. This meal, which is marinated in yoghurt and flavourful spices, is light but still delicious since it is baked, grilled, or air-fried rather than deep-fried. It takes only 30 minutes to prepare and tastes great as a snack, wrap stuffing, or alongside salad.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine yoghurt, olive oil, spices, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to marinate the chicken. After giving the chicken a thorough coating, leave it for at least fifteen minutes—or longer for a more complex flavour.
  2. The grill method involves heating up a grill pan, applying oil, and cooking the chicken for four to five minutes on each side, or until it is blackened and thoroughly done.
  3. Air Fryer Method: Shake halfway through 12 to 15 minutes at 200°C (400°F).
  4. Serve with a fresh salad on the side.

A lighter option is grilled rather than fried, probiotics and protein are added by yoghurt marinade, bold flavour is achieved with minimal oil and natural seasonings, low in carbohydrates and high in protein, it’s ideal for a balanced diet.
